NEW YORK, NY – October 6, 2025 – The Enhanced Games today announced that Wes Kitts - a two-time Olympian and American record-holder in weightlifting, is officially set to compete in the inaugural Enhanced Games next May. He becomes the second weightlifter following Boady Santavy to formally join The Enhanced Games.
"The Enhanced Games are a game-changer for athletes. All my life, I've pushed the limits of what's possible in weightlifting. This is the first organization that truly believes in that philosophy,” said Wes Kitts. “I’m truly excited to go out, break a record I've been chasing for years, and be compensated in a way that truly reflects the dedication and sacrifice it takes to be the best in the world. This is the future of sport."
Kitts, who finished eighth in his weightlifting division at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, holds multiple American records across different weight classes. His decorated career includes three Pan American Championship titles and a Pan American Games Championship. Kitts has also competed in five IWF World Championships.
With a prominent following on social media, Kitts's journey to becoming a world-class weightlifter is unique. He was a running back for Austin Peay State University before starting weightlifting at the age of 24.

He's not just a two-time Olympian, but he's an icon in the weightlifting world with an enormous following,” said Maximilian Martin, CEO of the Enhanced Games. “His decision to join us is a testament to the fact that top-tier athletes are looking for a new path—one that values performance and compensates them for their incredible talent. Wes is a pioneer, and his presence elevates the competition and brings a massive spotlight to the future of sports."
