Officiating Team
The event was supervised by three esteemed officials:
John Dussliere, the USA 2008 Olympic Head Open Water Swimming Coach, brought his extensive experience at the highest levels of competitive swimming.
Dave Olack and Lisa Olack, both certified USA Swimming Officials from North Carolina Swimming, ensured that every detail adhered to the regulations set by USA Swimming and FINA. Their combined expertise guaranteed that the swim was conducted with precision and integrity.
Advanced Verification:
We utilized an Omega timing system, a globally recognized standard in competitive swimming, to provide accurate and reliable timing data. This system is trusted at the highest levels of the sport, including the Olympics.
Multiple camera footages was recorded from various angles, offering a thorough visual record of the event. This footage allows for detailed review, ensuring all rules were followed and providing transparency in the process.
Certified Facilities: The pool underwent technical certification, confirming that its dimensions, water quality, and other critical factors met the stringent requirements for official competitions.
